Shoreline Chorus – All The World Sings

Choral Music in Middle Grey presents

FRIDAY 14th JUNE 2024

Shoreline Chorus is celebrating its 25th Season. Shoreline is a 45 member soprano-alto-tenor-bass (SATB) Owen Sound based community choir under the direction of Ann-Marie MacDairmid. Ann-Marie started Shoreline simply out of a desire, “… to conduct her own choir and sing music that I wish I had had an opportunity to sing when I was to high school.”

The Shoreline Chorus have just completed a a short tour in Spain – Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, and are now embarked on celebrating their 25th year with an earth themed presentation called All The World Sings, including selections of Earth Song, What a Wonderful World, The Earth’s Been Good To Me.

Ann-Marie MacDairmid in addition to her role with Shoreline of artistic director, she serves as the director and accompanist for various groups, including being the director of music and organist for St. Andrew’s Kitchener, organist and the primary accompanist for Grand River Chorus, and director of the Queen Street Singers. Ann-Marie has led choir tours to Cuba, Holland, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Spain through her leadership and provided musical concerts across Ontario.
